This project is about absence, discomfort, the decisions that a family member takes and how that decision inevitably reflects onto the whole family. We make decisions every day and we need to accept the consequences resulting from our commitment. Even not to make a decision is a decision itself.
The discomfort of being far from the family can result in an early return to one’s routine and comfort. Being happy far from it because of the possibility to live a passion and a non-programmed life could be the best decision.
So what is the “best decision”? Can we be sure to choose what is best between stay or leave, decide or postpone, take a responsibility or drop it? All this is expressed with a personal project having at the center those family members in an abandoned house, expressing the dichotomy felt to create a life they were never expected it to be.
